nicole03: what about a ESA dog my dog is a ESA dog and I was told by a cop in the hospital she was not a service animal ESA is nothing but I have a doctor's note to prove it and the cop did not care.

Alpha at your service🐾🦴⚕️: Therapy dogs≠service dogs by the way! Therapy dogs are used for multiple individuals and is NOT task trained for specific disabilities, only really comfort and is not allowed public access, only really facilities with permission. Service dogs ARE for one individual and is task trained for specific disabilities to mitigate the handlers disability/ies which require their medical attention 24/7 so they do have public access and that’s why it’s also a crime to impersonate a service dog, distract, or deny access (ADA 1990).
